Safety Precautions
- Paid attention to weather: All outdoor activities should be cancelled or postponed when Amber/Red/Black Rainstorm Signal, no. 3 typhoon signal or above or thunderstorm warning is hoisted.
- Know how to swim for at least 50 meters: All scout members should present their sea log before participating in water sport activities.
- Life Guards: You must play water sport only at the place where life guards or canoe life guards are present.
- Wear a glove when building a raft to prevent being hurt by the bamboos and ropes.
- Inspect the life jacket and put them on before playing water sport.
- Wear a helmet properly before playing water sport.
- Wear simple sport shoes that cover your toes to prevent being hurt by the reefs at the shore.
- Check your raft before moving it into the water.
- Don't sit on the plastic barrels before moving them into the sea, since the plastic barrels can only float on the water, they may not be able to withstand your weight, if you sit on them on the land, they may be easily damaged and filled with water when they are moved into the water.
